“Pain is the mind. It’s the thoughts of the mind. Then I get rid of the thoughts, and I get in my witness, which is down in my spiritual heart. The witness that witnesses being. Then those particular thoughts that are painful – love them. I love them to death!

- Ram Daas

HOLISTIC COUNSELLING

“To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind, he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.” - Buddha

HOLISTIC THERAPY

Holistic therapy understands that people are whole beings. We are a multi-conscious with many parts of self. Holistic therapy aims to make a connection between thoughts, emotions, body and spirit. Trauma can create intense emotions, memories that are difficult to tolerate and disconnection from self, others and the world. This can lead to symptoms related to Anxiety and Depression. Addiction to substances and engaging in harmful behaviours are ways to cope. Holistic Therapy creates a deeper understanding of the whole self by cultivating self-awareness and self-compassion. By accepting all parts of self and what happened we can let go of that which no longer serves us.

PSYCHEDELIC THERAPY

Medical experts are beginning to understand the therapeutic benefits of psychedelic therapy. We know psychedelic experiences shift our perspective on the world, relationships, work and ultimately how we see ourself. These experiences can be profound and transformational if intention setting, set and integration is incorporated into the process. One can think of Intention Setting as the process of discovering your inner compass and setting out in the direction your compass is pointing you towards. Integration begins after a psychedelic experience. It is the art of weaving new insights, emotions and attitudes from a psychedelic experience into your Self and your day-to-day life.

SOMATIC THERAPY

Somatic therapy focuses on the mind-body connection and how we relate to our body. This approach understands that what happens in our lives (and in the lives of our ancestors) is stored on a cellular level in our bodies. By developing an awareness of physical sensations in the body, grounding, breathing, moving and regulating the nervous system, we are able to release emotions, beliefs and thoughts. Somatic therapy has been used to support and heal addiction and symptoms related to trauma such as Anxiety, Depression, chronic pain, digestive issues, sexual dysfunction and PTSD. Somatic therapy was initially developed to help trauma survivors release distressing experiences from the body.

DEPTH HYNOSIS

What is Depth Hypnosis?

Depth Hypnosis is a revolutionary way of leaning into the wisdom of your experience by addressing underlying issues and patterns. By recognizing the root of your patterns, you can experience deep healing in your relationship to yourself, others and in your life. We will begin the process by completing an emotional biography of your life experiences. From there you will connect to the wisest part of yourself through a meditative process. Finally we discover deep insights to your patterns and heal the root of your experiences on a mental, emotional and spiritual level.

Types of Depth Hypnosis:

  • Present Life Regression

  • Past Life Regression

  • Inner Coming to Peace

THETA HEALING

ThetaHealing is a meditation technique and spiritual philosophy that uses the Theta brainwave. This modality is not specific to one religion but accepting of them all. The purpose of ThetaHealing is to get closer to the source of creation. It is a training method for your mind, body and spirit that allows you to clear limiting beliefs and mental blocks in order to live a fuller life.

What can I expect in a Theta Healing session?

In ThetaHealing we explore a topic or area through guided inquiry and meditation. Through this process, we discover limiting beliefs held in your subconscious. These limiting beliefs and experiences are then released and replaced with positive ones. This brings balance and supports you in becoming all that you are.

Meditation

When meditation is mastered,

The mind is unwavering like the

Flame of a lamp in a windless place.

In the still mind,

In the depths of meditation,

The Self reveals itself.

- Bhagavad Gita

THERAPEUTIC SHAMANISM

What is Shamanism?

We know that Shamanism has been practiced by hunter gatherer tribes all over the world. Anthropologists believe there is a core set of beliefs and practices amongst shamanic cultures. For example, everything is connected and interdependent. We can see this in ecosystems where animals, plants etc. depend on all other living things to survive. Not only is everything connected, but everything is also alive and has a spirit. In Shamanism we perceive ordinary reality, what is visible, and non-ordinarily reality, what is invisible. Shamanic practitioners created an altered state of consciousness to brings awareness to non-ordinary reality. By moving beyond everyday thoughts, feelings, beliefs, behaviours and social norms, we can access innate wisdom and guidance. Shamans in hunter gatherer tribes practiced ancient techniques for the well-being and healing of themselves and their communities. It was a way of life.

What can I expect in a Shamanic Energy Healing?

Shaman practitioners use repetitive drumming to elicit a altered state of consciousness. This will allow us to access non-ordinarily reality. This is called Shamanic Journeying. What we experience during a shamanic journey is unique to you. We may visit a particular landscape, see trees, plants, meet your Power Animal(s) or Guide(s). After your journey, we will discuss what you experienced. We are here to help you understand the meaning of and interpret the journey. Shamanic journeying is about reconnecting you to your personal power and innate wisdom. This is how we heal and maintain well-being.

The visible and invisible worlds are inextricably intertwined…once you’ve opened your eyes to this, you can dance between them.

What is Reiki?

It is an energetic healing technique. Warm and soothing energy flows from the hands to assist energetic flow in the body, create relaxation, reduce pain and support emotional well-being.

Where did Reiki originate?

Its roots are from Japan. The earliest records have found a Japanese therapist by the name of Matiji Kawakami who created Reiki Ryoho in 1914. However, it is Mikao Usui that is often considered the founder of Reiki because of how Reiki became known to the western world.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

Reiki has also been used alongside psychotherapy to improve symptoms related to emotional trauma, anxiety, depression and much more. Studies have found Reiki has supported individuals in their healing from skin problems, headaches, colds, flus, fatigue and insomnia.

What happens in a Reiki treatment?

Come to your appointment well hydrated and in loose comfortable clothing. To begin, we will discuss your intention for the treatment. You will then lay on the therapy table, under a weighted blanket. The sounds of relaxing music and scent of sage will fill the room as energy flows through your body.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a trauma informed somatic therapy that involves moving the eyes side to side while you process traumatic memories. This is called bi-lateral stimulation (BLS). This therapy does not require talking about or sharing the distressing incident(s). EMDR instead focuses on bodily sensations and emotions to help your brain reprocess traumatic material. This approach reduces symptoms related to PTSD and other mental health concerns by changing how traumatic material is stored in the brain. After EMDR therapy, clients usually notice feeling less physiologically overwhelmed, experience a dimming of intense emotions, are able to think about the traumatic incident in a more helpful way and talk about the traumatic experience from the perspective of being a witness to it.
